This website, assoulinewigs.com, is operated by Oshrit Assouline Wigs ("we", "us", "our"), a wig studio based at 15 Paran Street, Ramat Eshkol, Jerusalem, Israel.

What this policy covers

It explains what personal information we collect when you visit our site, book a consultation, buy a product or enrol in a course; why we collect it; who we share it with; and what rights you have over it.

What we collect

Information you give us directly

  • Name, email address and phone number, when you fill in a contact form, book an appointment or place an order.

  • Delivery and billing address, when you buy from our shop.

  • Details you choose to share about your hair, your preferences or your needs, when you book a consultation. Some of this may be sensitive to you, and we treat it accordingly: it is used to prepare and deliver your service, and for nothing else.

  • Messages you send us by email, WhatsApp or through the site's chat.

Information collected automatically

  • Your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, how long you stay and which site referred you.

  • Cookies and similar technologies — see the section below.

What we do not collect

We do not take payment card details ourselves. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.

We do not record or replay your individual browsing sessions.

We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.

Who we share it with

Only with the service providers we need to run the business, and only with what they need:

  • Wix.com Ltd. — hosts the site, the shop and the booking system.

  • Our payment provider — processes payments.

  • Shipping carriers — deliver your order.

  • Email and analytics providers — send our messages and measure site traffic.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights.

Because our providers operate internationally, your data may be processed outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens for EU/UK visitors, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

Cookies

We use:

  • Essential cookies — without them the site, the cart and the booking system do not work. They cannot be switched off.

  • Analytics cookies — they tell us which pages are read and where visitors come from.

  • Marketing cookies — they let us measure our advertising and show relevant ads.

You can accept or refuse the non-essential ones through the cookie banner, and change your mind at any time. Your browser also lets you block or delete cookies; some parts of the site may then stop working.

How long we keep it

  • Order and booking records: seven years, for accounting and tax.

  • Contact enquiries that lead nowhere: two years.

  • Marketing consent: until you withdraw it.

  • Analytics: at most 26 months.

Your rights

​

Wherever you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Write to assoulinewigs@gmail.com and we will answer within 30 days.

If you are in the EU or the UK, you also have the right to restrict or object to processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to complain to your national data protection authority.

If you are in Israel, you have the rights granted by the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, including access and correction.

 

Children

Our site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

​

We keep your information on systems protected by encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects you.

Changes

​

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site.
